2007 – Mural of the year
This is a conceptual rendering of the proposed Nygård Village at 145 Market Ave. This 92 foot wide, 50 foot tall mural was started in August of 2005. The project was completed November 2006 and was chosen by the Murals of Winnipeg website and a panel of independent judges as the 2006 Mural of the Year. “One mural judge called the mural ‘one of the most ambitious mural projects ever undertaken in Winnipeg’. Other judges called it ‘visually stunning’ and ‘of the highest quality’.
